LD78 beta Recombinant Protein
Product Specifications
Background
LD78-beta is a CC chemokine that is closely related to MIP-1 alpha. It signals through the CCR5 receptor and the beta-chemokine receptor, D6. LD78-beta has been shown to exhibit potent activity in HIV suppression assays. Recombinant human LD78-beta is a 7.7 kDa protein containing 70 amino acid residues, including the four conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines.

Storage Conditions
The lyophilized LD78 beta recombinant protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20˚ C. Reconstituted LD78 beta is stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20˚ C. As with any protein, exposing LD78 beta recombinant protein to repeated freeze / thaw cycles is not recommended. When working with proteins care should be taken to keep recombinant protein at a cool and stable temperature.
