HCC-1 Recombinant Protein
Product Specifications
Background
HCC-1 is a CC chemokine that signals through the CCR1 receptor and chemoattracts blood monocytes. It is secreted by various tissues including skeletal muscle, heart, spleen, liver and bone marrow. Recombinant human HCC-1 is an 8.4 kDa protein consisting of 72 amino acids including the four highly conserved residues present in CC chemokines.

Storage Conditions
The lyophilized HCC-1 recombinant protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20˚ C. Reconstituted HCC-1 is stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20˚ C. As with any protein, exposing HCC-1 recombinant protein to repeated freeze / thaw cycles is not recommended. When working with proteins care should be taken to keep recombinant protein at a cool and stable temperature.
