Lymphotactin Recombinant Protein
Product Specifications
Background
Lymphotactin is the only known member of the C-chemokine family and signals through the receptor XCR1, formally known as GPR5. The spleen shows the highest level of lymphotactin compared to peripheral leukocytes, lung, colon and small intestine. Lymphotactin is chemotactic towards lymphocytes but not towards monocytes or neutrophils. Recombinant human Lymphotactin is a 10.0 kDa protein consisting of 92 amino acid residues.

Storage Conditions
The lyophilized Lymphotactin recombinant protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20˚ C. Reconstituted Lymphotactin is stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20˚ C. As with any protein, exposing Lymphotactin recombinant protein to repeated freeze / thaw cycles is not recommended. When working with proteins care should be taken to keep recombinant protein at a cool and stable temperature.
