PF-4 Recombinant Protein
Product Specifications
Background
PF-4 is a CXC chemokine that is expressed in megakaryocytes and stored in the α -granules of platelets. PF-4 is chemotactic towards neutrophils and monocytes and has been shown to inhibit angiogenesis. Recombinant murine PF-4 is an 8.2 kDa protein containing 76 amino acid residues, including the four highly conserved residues present in CXC chemokines.

Storage Conditions
The lyophilized PF-4 recombinant protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20˚ C. Reconstituted PF-4 is stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20˚ C. As with any protein, exposing PF-4 recombinant protein to repeated freeze / thaw cycles is not recommended. When working with proteins care should be taken to keep recombinant protein at a cool and stable temperature.
