STNF-receptor II Antibody

TNFRII (TNF Receptor II) is a member of the TNFR family of transmembrane proteins, and is expressed in immune cells and certain endothelial cells. It is a high affinity receptor for TNF alpha but manifests a lower affinity to TNF beta. Signaling through this receptor regulates various biological processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, lipid metabolism, coagulation, and neurotransmission. TNFRII consists of a 240 amino acid residue extracellular ligand binding portion, a 27 amino acid residue transmembrane segment and a 173 amino acid residue cytoplasmic domain.

Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hsTNF-receptor II. Human sTNF-receptor II specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized hsTNF-receptor II matrix.

STNF-receptor II antibody is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20˚ C. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-8˚ C. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least 6 months when stored at -20˚ C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
