OTUD5 Antibody
Product Specifications
Background
OTUD5 (ovarian tumor domain-containing 5), also called DUBA (Deubiquitinating enzyme A), is a product of the OTUD5 gene, and a suppressor of the innate immune response via its deubiquitinating activity. The Innate immune systems provide immediate but short-lived defense against infection identified by PRRs, or pattern recognition receptors. OTUD5 cleaves the lysine-63-linked polyubiquitin chains of TRAF3, causing it to dissociate from TBK1, thereby failing to stimulate IFN type 1 production and leading to a suppressed innate immune response.
