GDI2 Antibody

GDP dissociation inhibitors are proteins that regulate the GDP-GTP exchange reaction of members of the rab family, small GTP-binding proteins of the ras superfamily, that are involved in vesicular trafficking of molecules between cellular organelles. GDIs slow the rate of dissociation of GDP from rab proteins and release GDP from membrane-bound rabs. The GDI2 gene contains many repetitive elements indicating that it may be prone to inversion/deletion rearrangements.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store GDI2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

GDI2 antibody can be used for detection of GDI2 by ELISA at 1:312500. GDI2 antibody can be used for detection of GDI2 by western blot at 0.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
