LGALS8 Antibody

LGALS8 is a member of the galectin family. Galectins are beta-galactoside-binding animal lectins with conserved carbohydrate recognition domains. The galectins have been implicated in many essential functions including development, differentiation, cell-cell adhesion, cell-matrix interaction, growth regulation, apoptosis, and RNA splicing. This gene is widely expressed in tumoral tissues and seems to be involved in integrin-like cell interactions.This gene encodes a member of the galectin family. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store LGALS8 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

LGALS8 antibody can be used for detection of LGALS8 by ELISA at 1:1562500. LGALS8 antibody can be used for detection of LGALS8 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
