CRISP1 Antibody

Fertilization consists of a sequence of specific cell-cell interactions culminating in the fusion of the sperm and egg plasma membranes. Recognition, binding, and fusion occur through the interaction of complementary molecules that are localized to specific domains of the sperm and egg plasma membranes. In the sperm, the postacrosomal region or equatorial segment is involved in sperm-egg plasma membrane fusion. CRISP1 is a member of the cysteine-rich secretory protein (CRISP) family. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store CRISP1 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

CRISP1 antibody can be used for detection of CRISP1 by ELISA at 1:312500. CRISP1 antibody can be used for detection of CRISP1 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
