Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 5, 6, and 14. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store NUP50 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

NUP50 antibody can be used for detection of NUP50 by ELISA at 1:312500. NUP50 antibody can be used for detection of NUP50 by western blot at 0.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
