METAP2 Antibody

METAP2 is a member of the methionyl aminopeptidase family and encodes a protein that binds 2 cobalt or manganese ions. This protein functions both by protecting the alpha subunit of eukaryotic initiation factor 2 from inhibitory phosphorylation and by removing the amino-terminal methionine residue from nascent protein. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store METAP2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

METAP2 antibody can be used for detection of METAP2 by ELISA at 1:312500. METAP2 antibody can be used for detection of METAP2 by western blot at 0.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
