PRDX6 Antibody

PRDX6 is a member of the thiol-specific antioxidant protein family. This protein is a bifunctional enzyme with two distinct active sites. It is involved in redox regulation of the cell; it can reduce H (2) O (2) and short chain organic, fatty acid, and phospholipid hydroperoxides. It may play a role in the regulation of phospholipid turnover as well as in protection against oxidative injury. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store PRDX6 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

PRDX6 antibody can be used for detection of PRDX6 by ELISA at 1:62500. PRDX6 antibody can be used for detection of PRDX6 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
