ENO3 Antibody

ENO3 is one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. This isoenzyme, a homodimer, is found in skeletal muscle cells in the adult. A switch from alpha enolase to beta enolase occurs in muscle tissue during development in rodents. Mutations in ENO3 gene can be associated with metabolic myopathies that may result from decreased stability of the enzyme.This gene encodes one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. Two transcripts have been identified for this gene that differ only in their 5' UTR.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store ENO3 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

ENO3 antibody can be used for detection of ENO3 by ELISA at 1:12500. ENO3 antibody can be used for detection of ENO3 by western blot at 0.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
