CDH7 Antibody

CDH7 is a calcium dependent cell-cell adhesion glycoprotein comprised of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region and a highly conserved cytoplasmic tail. Type II (atypical) cadherins are defined based on their lack of a HAV cell adhesion recognition sequence specific to type I cadherins. Cadherins mediate cell-cell binding in a homophilic manner, contributing to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types and the maintenance of orderly structures.This gene is a type II classical cadherin from the cadherin superfamily. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store CDH7 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

CDH7 antibody can be used for detection of CDH7 by ELISA at 1:12500. CDH7 antibody can be used for detection of CDH7 by western blot at 0.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
