HIST1H1C Antibody

Histones are basic nuclear proteins responsible for nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Two molecules of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4) form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped in repeating units, called nucleosomes. This gene is intronless and encodes a member of the histone H1 family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails but instead contain a palindromic termination element. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store HIST1H1C antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

HIST1H1C antibody can be used for detection of HIST1H1C by ELISA at 1:312500. HIST1H1C antibody can be used for detection of HIST1H1C by western blot at 0.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
