ARG1 Antibody

Arginase catalyzes the hydrolysis of arginine to ornithine and urea. The type I isoform of ARG1, is a cytosolic enzyme and expressed predominantly in the liver as a component of the urea cycle. Inherited deficiency of this enzyme results in argininemia, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by hyperammonemia.Arginase catalyzes the hydrolysis of arginine to ornithine and urea. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store ARG1 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

ARG1 antibody can be used for detection of ARG1 by ELISA at 1:1562500. ARG1 antibody can be used for detection of ARG1 by western blot at 5.0 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
