RXRG Antibody

RXRG encodes a member of the retinoid X receptor (RXR) family of nuclear receptors which are involved in mediating the antiproliferative effects of retinoic acid (RA) . This receptor forms dimers with the retinoic acid, thyroid hormone, and vitamin D receptors, increasing both DNA binding and transcriptional function on their respective response elements. RXRG is expressed at significantly lower levels in non-small cell lung cancer cells. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store RXRG antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

RXRG antibody can be used for detection of RXRG by ELISA at 1:312500. RXRG antibody can be used for detection of RXRG by western blot at 0.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
