Background
MICA is expressed on the cell surface, although unlike canonical class I molecules does not seem to associate with beta-2-microglobulin. It is thought that MICA functions as a stress-induced antigen that is broadly recognized by intestinal epithelial gamma delta T cells.MICA encodes the higly polymorphic MHC (HLA) class I chain-related gene A. Applications Notes
MICA antibody can be used for detection of MICA by ELISA at 1:312500. MICA antibody can be used for detection of MICA by western blot at 2.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
