Background
C8 beta is one of the three subunits that comprise the component 8 (C8) of the complement system. C8 participates in the formation of Membrane Attack Complex that results in the lysis of cells. Patients with C8B deficiency are prone to bacteria infection.

C8B antibody can be used for detection of C8B by ELISA at 1:62500. C8B antibody can be used for detection of C8B by western blot at 0.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
