C8B Antibody

C8 beta is one of the three subunits that comprise the component 8 (C8) of the complement system. C8 participates in the formation of Membrane Attack Complex that results in the lysis of cells. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store C8B antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

C8B antibody can be used for detection of C8B by ELISA at 1:312500. C8B antibody can be used for detection of C8B by western blot at 0.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
