SLC17A5 is a membrane transporter that exports free sialic acids that have been cleaved off of cell surface lipids and proteins from lysosomes. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SLC17A5 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
