GOT2 Antibody

Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and inner-membrane mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. GOT plays a role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store GOT2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

GOT2 antibody can be used for detection of GOT2 by ELISA at 1:312500. GOT2 antibody can be used for detection of GOT2 by western blot at 2.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
