UBE2J2 Antibody

The modification of proteins with ubiquitin is an important cellular mechanism for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation. Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. UBE2J2 is a member of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene, but the full-length nature of some variants has not been defined.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store UBE2J2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

UBE2J2 antibody can be used for detection of UBE2J2 by ELISA at 1:312500. UBE2J2 antibody can be used for detection of UBE2J2 by western blot at 1.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
