CDC23 Antibody

CDC23 shares strong similarity with Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc23, a protein essential for cell cycle progression through the G2/M transition. This protein is a component of anaphase-promoting complex (APC), which is composed of eight protein subunits and highly conserved in eukaryotic cells. APC catalyzes the formation of cyclin B-ubiquitin conjugate that is responsible for the ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis of B-type cyclins. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store CDC23 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

CDC23 antibody can be used for detection of CDC23 by ELISA at 1:312500. CDC23 antibody can be used for detection of CDC23 by western blot at 0.5 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
