PANX1 Antibody

PANX1 belongs to the innexin family. Innexin family members are the structural components of gap junctions. This protein and pannexin 2 are abundantly expressed in central nerve system (CNS) and are coexpressed in various neuronal populations. Studies in Xenopus oocytes suggest that this protein alone and in combination with pannexin 2 may form cell type-specific gap junctions with distinct properties.The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the innexin family. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store PANX1 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

PANX1 antibody can be used for detection of PANX1 by ELISA at 1:62500. PANX1 antibody can be used for detection of PANX1 by western blot at 1.0 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
