STK11 Antibody

STK11is a member of the serine/threonine kinase family, regulates cell polarity and functions as a tumor suppressor. Mutations in its gene have been associated with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by the growth of polyps in the gastrointestinal tract, pigmented macules on the skin and mouth, and other neoplasms.This gene, which encodes a member of the serine/threonine kinase family, regulates cell polarity and functions as a tumor suppressor. Alternate transcriptional splice variants of this gene have been observed but have not been thoroughly characterized.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store STK11 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

STK11 antibody can be used for detection of STK11 by ELISA at 1:1562500. STK11 antibody can be used for detection of STK11 by western blot at 1.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
