Mammalian sodium-dicarboxylate cotransporters transport succinate and other Krebs cycle intermediates. They fall into 2 categories based on their substrate affinity: low affinity and high affinity. Both the low- and high-affinity transporters play an important role in the handling of citrate by the kidneys. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SLC13A3 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SLC13A3 antibody can be used for detection of SLC13A3 by ELISA at 1:12500. SLC13A3 antibody can be used for detection of SLC13A3 by western blot at 5.0 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
