EIF2S2 Antibody

Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 (EIF-2) functions in the early steps of protein synthesis by forming a ternary complex with GTP and initiator tRNA and binding to a 40S ribosomal subunit. EIF-2 is composed of three subunits, alpha, beta, and gamma, with the protein encoded by this gene representing the beta subunit. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store EIF2S2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

EIF2S2 antibody can be used for detection of EIF2S2 by ELISA at 1:62500. EIF2S2 antibody can be used for detection of EIF2S2 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
