RPL13 Antibody

Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. RPL13 is a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongs to the L13E family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. Transcript variants derived from alternative splicing and/or alternative polyadenylation exist; these variants encode the same protein. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store RPL13 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

RPL13 antibody can be used for detection of RPL13 by ELISA at 1:62500. RPL13 antibody can be used for detection of RPL13 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
