KRT18 Antibody

KRT18 (Keratin 18) is type I intermediate filament chain. Keratin 18, together with its filament partner keratin 8, are perhaps the most commonly found members of the intermediate filament gene family. They are expressed in single layer epithelial tissues of the body. Mutations in this gene have been linked to cryptogenic cirrhosis.KRT18 encodes the type I intermediate filament chain keratin 18. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store KRT18 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

KRT18 antibody can be used for detection of KRT18 by ELISA at 1:62500. KRT18 antibody can be used for detection of KRT18 by western blot at 1.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
