HIF3A Antibody

HIF3A is the alpha-3 subunit of one of several alpha/beta-subunit heterodimeric transcription factors that regulate many adaptive responses to low oxygen tension (hypoxia) . The alpha-3 subunit lacks the transactivation domain found in factors containing either the alpha-1 or alpha-2 subunits. It is thought that factors containing the alpha-3 subunit are negative regulators of hypoxia-inducible gene expression.The protein encoded by this gene is the alpha-3 subunit of one of several alpha/beta-subunit heterodimeric transcription factors that regulate many adaptive responses to low oxygen tension (hypoxia) . At least three transcript variants encoding three different isoforms have been found for this gene.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store HIF3A antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

HIF3A antibody can be used for detection of HIF3A by ELISA at 1:312500. HIF3A antibody can be used for detection of HIF3A by western blot at 1.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
