NRF1 Antibody

NRF1 is a phosphorylated nuclear protein with a bZIP domain. This protein homodimerizes and functions as a transcription factor that activates the expression of some key metabolic genes regulating cellular growth and nuclear genes required for respiration, heme biosynthesis, and mitochondrial DNA transcription and replication. The protein has also been associated with the regulation of neurite outgrowth.This gene encodes a phosphorylated nuclear protein with a bZIP domain. Additional variants encoding different protein isoforms have been described but they have not been fully characterized.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store NRF1 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

NRF1 antibody can be used for detection of NRF1 by ELISA at 1:1562500. NRF1 antibody can be used for detection of NRF1 by western blot at 1.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
