SAP30 Antibody

Histone acetylation plays a key role in the regulation of eukaryotic gene expression. Histone acetylation and deacetylation are catalyzed by multisubunit complexes. SAP30 is a component of the histone deacetylase complex, which includes SIN3, SAP18, HDAC1, HDAC2, RbAp46, RbAp48, and other polypeptides. This complex is active in deacetylating core histone octamers, but inactive in deacetylating nucleosomal histones. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SAP30 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SAP30 antibody can be used for detection of SAP30 by ELISA at 1:312500. SAP30 antibody can be used for detection of SAP30 by western blot at 1.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
