SSRP1 Antibody

SSRP1 is a subunit of a heterodimer that, along with SUPT16H, forms chromatin transcriptional elongation factor FACT. FACT interacts specifically with histones H2A/H2B to effect nucleosome disassembly and transcription elongation. FACT and cisplatin-damaged DNA may be crucial to the anticancer mechanism of cisplatin. SSRP1 contains a high mobility group box which most likely constitutes the structure recognition element for cisplatin-modified DNA. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SSRP1 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SSRP1 antibody can be used for detection of SSRP1 by ELISA at 1:1562500. SSRP1 antibody can be used for detection of SSRP1 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
