SOX9 Antibody

SOX9 recognizes the sequence CCTTGAG along with other members of the HMG-box class DNA-binding proteins. It acts during chondrocyte differentiation and, with steroidogenic factor 1, regulates transcription of the anti-Muellerian hormone (AMH) gene. Deficiencies lead to the skeletal malformation syndrome campomelic dysplasia, frequently with sex reversal.The protein encoded by this gene recognizes the sequence CCTTGAG along with other members of the HMG-box class DNA-binding proteins. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SOX9 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SOX9 antibody can be used for detection of SOX9 by ELISA at 1:312500. SOX9 antibody can be used for detection of SOX9 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
