KCNIP2 Antibody

KCNIP2 encodes a member of the family of voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channel-interacting proteins (KCNIPs), which belongs to the recoverin branch of the EF-hand superfamily. Members of the KCNIP family are small calcium binding proteins. They all have EF-hand-like domains, and differ from each other in the N-terminus. They are integral subunit components of native Kv4 channel complexes. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified from this gene.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store KCNIP2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

KCNIP2 antibody can be used for detection of KCNIP2 by ELISA at 1:12500. KCNIP2 antibody can be used for detection of KCNIP2 by western blot at 1.25 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
