SOX8 Antibody

SOX8 is a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of the cell fate. It may act as a transcriptional activator after forming a protein complex with other proteins. This protein may be involved in brain development and function. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SOX8 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SOX8 antibody can be used for detection of SOX8 by ELISA at 1:12500. SOX8 antibody can be used for detection of SOX8 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
