HTR5A Antibody

The neurotransmitter serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT) has been implicated in a wide range of psychiatric conditions and also has vasoconstrictive and vasodilatory effects. HTR5A is a member of 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) receptor family. It is a multi-pass membrane protein that functions as a receptor for 5-hydroxytryptamine and couples to G-proteins. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store HTR5A antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

HTR5A antibody can be used for detection of HTR5A by ELISA at 1:312500. HTR5A antibody can be used for detection of HTR5A by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
