HOXA11 Antibody

In vertebrates, the genes encoding the class of transcription factors called homeobox genes are found in clusters named A, B, C, and D on four separate chromosomes. Expression of these proteins is spatially and temporally regulated during embryonic development. HOXA11 gene is part of the A cluster on chromosome 7 and encodes a DNA-binding transcription factor which may regulate gene expression, morphogenesis, and differentiation. This gene is involved in the regulation of uterine development and is required for female fertility. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store HOXA11 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

HOXA11 antibody can be used for detection of HOXA11 by ELISA at 1:312500. HOXA11 antibody can be used for detection of HOXA11 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
