GLE1 Antibody

GLE1 is a predicted 75-kDa polypeptide with high sequence and structure homology to yeast Gle1p, which is nuclear protein with a leucine-rich nuclear export sequence essential for poly (A) +RNA export. Inhibition of human GLE1L by microinjection of antibodies against GLE1L in HeLa cells resulted in inhibition of poly (A) +RNA export. Immunoflourescence studies show that GLE1L is localized at the nuclear pore complexes. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store GLE1 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

GLE1 antibody can be used for detection of GLE1 by ELISA at 1:1562500. GLE1 antibody can be used for detection of GLE1 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
