ACADVL Antibody

ACADVL is targeted to the inner mitochondrial membrane where it catalyzes the first step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. This acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase is specific to long-chain and very-long-chain fatty acids. A deficiency in ACADVL protein reduces myocardial fatty acid beta-oxidation and is associated with cardiomyopathy.The protein encoded by this gene is targeted to the inner mitochondrial membrane where it catalyzes the first step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store ACADVL antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

ACADVL antibody can be used for detection of ACADVL by ELISA at 1:312500. ACADVL antibody can be used for detection of ACADVL by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
