SURF4 Antibody

SURF4 is a conserved integral membrane protein containing multiple putative transmembrane regions. In eukaryotic cells, protein transport between the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi compartments is mediated in part by non-clathrin-coated vesicular coat proteins (COPs) . The specific function of this protein has not been determined but its yeast homolog is directly required for packaging glycosylated pro-alpha-factor into COPII vesicles. This gene is located in the surfeit gene cluster, which is comprised of very tightly linked housekeeping genes that do not share sequence similarity. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SURF4 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SURF4 antibody can be used for detection of SURF4 by ELISA at 1:62500. SURF4 antibody can be used for detection of SURF4 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
