PCDH8 Antibody

This gene belongs to the protocadherin gene family, a subfamily of the cadherin superfamily. PCDH8 is an integral membrane protein that is thought to function in cell adhesion in a CNS-specific manner. Unlike classical cadherins, which are generally encoded by 15-17 exons, this gene includes only 3 exons. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store PCDH8 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

PCDH8 antibody can be used for detection of PCDH8 by ELISA at 1:12500. PCDH8 antibody can be used for detection of PCDH8 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
