SLC5A5 Antibody

The sodium-iodide symporter (NIS, or SLC5A5) is a key plasma membrane protein that mediates active I- uptake in thyroid, lactating breast, and other tissues with an electrogenic stoichiometry of 2 Na+ per I-. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SLC5A5 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SLC5A5 antibody can be used for detection of SLC5A5 by ELISA at 1:1562500. SLC5A5 antibody can be used for detection of SLC5A5 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
