SLC25A20 Antibody

SLC25A20 is one of several closely related mitochondrial-membrane carrier proteins that shuttle substrates between cytosol and the intramitochondrial matrix space.It mediates the transport of acylcarnitines into mitochondrial matrix for their oxidation by the mitochondrial fatty acid-oxidation pathway. Mutations in this gene are associated with carnitine-acylcarnitine translocase deficiency, which can cause a variety of pathological conditions such as hypoglycemia, cardiac arrest, hepatomegaly, hepatic dysfunction and muscle weakness, and is usually lethal in new born and infants.This gene product is one of several closely related mitochondrial-membrane carrier proteins that shuttle substrates between cytosol and the intramitochondrial matrix space. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store SLC25A20 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

SLC25A20 antibody can be used for detection of SLC25A20 by ELISA at 1:312500. SLC25A20 antibody can be used for detection of SLC25A20 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
