MAOB Antibody

MAOB belongs to the flavin monoamine oxidase family. It is a enzyme located in the mitochondrial outer membrane. It catalyzes the oxidative deamination of biogenic and xenobiotic amines and plays an important role in the metabolism of neuroactive and vasoactive amines in the central nervous sysytem and peripheral tissues. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store MAOB antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

MAOB antibody can be used for detection of MAOB by ELISA at 1:312500. MAOB antibody can be used for detection of MAOB by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
