UBE3B Antibody

The modification of proteins with ubiquitin is an important cellular mechanism for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation. Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. UBE3B is a member of the E3 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. This gene encodes a member of the E3 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. The encoded protein may interact with other proteins and play a role in stress response. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein isoform have been identified for this gene.

For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store UBE3B antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

UBE3B antibody can be used for detection of UBE3B by ELISA at 1:312500. UBE3B antibody can be used for detection of UBE3B by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
