ADH1B Antibody

ADH1B is a member of the alcohol dehydrogenase family. Members of this enzyme family metabolize a wide variety of substrates, including ethanol, retinol, other aliphatic alcohols, hydroxysteroids, and lipid peroxidation products. This protein, consisting of several homo- and heterodimers of alpha, beta, and gamma subunits, exhibits high activity for ethanol oxidation and plays a major role in ethanol catabolism. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the alcohol dehydrogenase family. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store ADH1B antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

ADH1B antibody can be used for detection of ADH1B by ELISA at 1:62500. ADH1B antibody can be used for detection of ADH1B by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
