HAO2 Antibody

HAO2 is one of three related proteins that have 2-hydroxyacid oxidase activity yet differ in amino acid sequence, tissue expression and substrate preference. Subcellular location of the protein is the peroxisome. Specifically, the protein is expressed predominantly in liver and kidney and has the highest activity toward the substrate 2-hydroxypalmitate. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store HAO2 antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

HAO2 antibody can be used for detection of HAO2 by ELISA at 1:62500. HAO2 antibody can be used for detection of HAO2 by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
