C4BPA Antibody

C4BPA is a member of a superfamily of proteins composed predominantly of tandemly arrayed short consensus repeats of approximately 60 amino acids. Along with a single, unique beta-chain, seven identical alpha-chains encoded by this gene assemble into the predominant isoform of C4b-binding protein, a multimeric protein that controls activation of the complement cascade through the classical pathway. For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚ C. For longer periods of storage, store C4BPA antibody at -20˚ C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

C4BPA antibody can be used for detection of C4BPA by ELISA at 1:312500. C4BPA antibody can be used for detection of C4BPA by western blot at 1 μ g/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
